Preserving the Wartime Heritage of 'RAF Holwell Hyde' which was home to the Decoy Factory, which distracted German Bombs from the Mosquito Production Lines at

Hatfield De havilland; later to become RAF Panshanger and home to 'No 1 Elementary Flying Training School', which saw 5000 Pilot Officers pass through to receive their Wings and help win the Second World War, flying Tiger Moth Bi-Planes.

This RAF Station contributed to the National War Effort in its own right. This aerodrome's Wartime History has Not Been Addressed Properly or Protected From Past Development; this is an International Masterpiece, that Must be Preserved and Restored for future generations.

I want the Government to Start to Respect the 'Sacrifice Reminders' of Former RAF Aerodromes.

There is always a Cost to Freedom; let us not forget that Panshanger Aerodrome is still an important reminder of local sacrifices for the freedoms of all (2013).
