Panshanger Aerodrome is a Living Heritage Example of de-Havilland at Hatfield - Hatfield & Panshanger are one, not seperate! 1 EFTS.

Hatfield - de Havilland

Panshanger protected the Mosquito at Hatfield; These 2 Mosquitos, NT202 & NT205 built at Hatfield but served with 617 Squadron, the Dambusters!  The Link between 'Panshanger; Hatfield de Havilland; Mosquitos; Lancasters; Tiger Moths & de Havilland at London Colney!'

18th Century, possibly WW1.  May have been used in WW2 but no evidence of that.  It may be a tunnel.  Over Panshanger Lane beside Buttercup Way.

I'm no Expert, but that wall looks fake!
